EasyThai Dictionary is a comprehensive and useful piece of software designed to find most Thai words on the basis of phonetic or spoken sound language as every search is based on just two simple rules:
￭ An "*" (asterisk) is placed in front of the sought-after word (e.g. *bai)
￭ Just one single letter is used for long and short vowels (e.g. *ban)

Computerized speech output (double click) is merely an aid in this process, and is no replacement for hearing the words spoken by a native speaker.

The big advantage of electronic speech output, however, is that you can immediately hear any Thai words you have entered and saved yourself without having to digitalize large sound files. For this reason we have included it.
